The Holy Bible

We believe the Bible to be the holy, inerrant, infallible Word of the one and only living God, written by men over a period of several thousand years, as they were inspired to do so by the Holy Spirit (God Breathed). The Bible tells us who we are, why we are here on Earth, and how God expects us to live our lives.

Who Is God?

We believe in the Holy God of the Bible, the eternal triune God of Heaven and Earth who created mankind in His own image 6000 years ago (not millions of years ago). According to the Bible, there is only one true God, existing eternally in three distinct persons, the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit.

Who Are We?

Mankind is by nature sinful and unclean, and each of us are guilty of sinning against God. The Bible says that if a person breaks just one of God's laws (The Ten Commandments), they are guilty of breaking them all. "For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all." (James 1:10) We will all stand before God on the day of judgment, and if we are found guilty of breaking God's laws, we will spend eternity in a place the Bible calls the 'lake of fire'.

How Are We Saved?

Even though we all stand condemned before God and are in desperate need of a saviour, God, in His infinite mercy, sent His Son, Jesus Christ (God in the flesh), to take on the punishment that we all deserve. That Bible says that we have all broken God's laws, but Jesus Christ suffered and died on the cross, and rose again on the third day in order to pay the penalty for the sins of the world once and for all. He did this so that we could all be set free from God's Holy wrath on the day of judgement. "The righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction: for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus." (Romans 3:22-24) However, the Bible says that in order to receive God's free gift of salvation, we must place our faith and trust in the finished work of Jesus Christ, and Jesus Christ alone. "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12) The Bible says that there is nothing we can do to earn our own salvation, because the sacrifice of Jesus Christ was the only thing that could satisfy the Holy wrath of God against us. "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9) - Place your faith and trust in the finished work of Jesus Christ today and receive God's promise of everlasting life.
